Here are some answers on website design, eCommerce, logos, hosting and more...
I focus not only on building quality websites but also on developing strong relationships with my clients. If you still have an unanswered question, please don’t hesitate to contact me here.
Yes, absolutely. I believe in building long-lasting relationships with my clients because I see my role as not just building websites, but guiding clients through the many options and possibilities in front of them. I’m aware that reaching out to a web designer can be intimidating, and in a lot of cases clients aren’t entirely sure of what they need. So if you just have questions without even being sure you’re ready to go ahead, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
I’m happy to take a look. But in my experience, it’s more cost and time-efficient to start over with a clean slate rather than try to untangle something that is outdated and stale. Feel free to get in touch or request a free quote and we can discuss your best options.
Yes I can! I use Shopify to create eCommerce websites.
For graphics, I use the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator & Lightroom). For the development of websites, I use WordPress & Shopify, and both are responsively designed.
It’s a tricky question to answer without knowing the specifics of the project. But smaller sites tend to take around 4-6 weeks to complete, larger or more complicated projects can easily go beyond that.
You can find more about my pricing method here. If you’d like to discuss your requirements, please complete my Free Quote Request and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
Yes, I have clients all over the United States, and I’ve never found distance to impede my work.
I build custom websites with a Front End Visual Editor. This means that if you want, you can log in and edit text, make posts, and upload images safely and easily (mostly from the front end). However, if you have major structural or navigation changes, want to add new pages, add elements, or expand functionality, please get in touch with me and explain what you want in detail and I will quote a price. I will not start until we agree on the scope of the addition and its cost.
When we agree to work together I will offer a set price for the project, which will not change as long as the scope of the project is not altered during production. The other common costs associated with creating a website are hosting and domain registration, find out more about that below.
If you’re based in Edmond or the Oklahoma City Metro area I have a professional photographer I work with for all kinds of projects. Some clients elect to use Stock images. In that case, I typically suggest iStock Photo. iStock Photo has the largest repository of hi-resolution photos on just about every subject and you get a lot for your money.
I can do logo design as part of your project. There would be an additional cost of between $500 – $1,000 depending on the type of design you require. I can add this to your free quote request.
No. I do not do print design.
In order for people to reach your website, it needs to be stored somewhere permanently connected to the internet. Think of it as renting a space for a traditional business, you want to pick somewhere safe, affordable, and with good amenities. Good quality hosting means your website is secure, and dependably fast to load for everyone the world over.
Definitely. I actually recommend that. There are a lot of things that have to be kept up with behind the scenes and if they're not done in a timely manner you can have both performance & security issues. I offer Care Plans at three different levels to suit your needs.
In addition to Hosting, these Care Plans include Updates, Backups, Security & Support at a discounted hourly rate.
I offer these Care Plans so you can have peace of mind knowing that your site is well taken care of and you can focus on more important things like your business.
